This week, Jesus is 28 weeks old.  His bone marrow takes over the production of red blood cells and his lanugo has disappeared.  He is about the length of a standard ruler and weighs almost 3 pounds.  Infant Jesus, you raised us to heaven by taking on manhood.  Open all hearts to this truth and teach the world to reject the evil of abortion

This week in Christ's life… (27)

This week, Jesus is 27 weeks old.   He can see light and dark through the walls of the womb.  His brain can direct rhythmic breathing and control his body temperature.  His eyes move in their sockets and he is practicing seeing.  He can see shades of reds, greens, and yellows.  Infant Jesus, you raised us to heaven by taking on manhood.  Open all hearts to this truth and teach the world to reject the evil of abortion

This week in Christ's life… (26)

This week, Jesus is 26 weeks old.   His eyelids have completely unfused and can open and shut.  His eyelashes are present.  In two weeks, he has grown so much!  He is almost 10 inches long and weighs over 2 pounds!  Infant Jesus, you raised us to heaven by taking on manhood.  Open all hearts to this truth and teach the world to reject the evil of abortion

Prayer for the Helpless Unborn

Heavenly Father, in Your love for us, protect against the wickedness of the devil, those helpless little ones to whom You have given the gift of life. Touch with pity the hearts of those women pregnant in our world today who are not thinking of motherhood.
Help them to see that the child they carry is made in Your image - as well as theirs  - made for eternnal life. Dispel their fear and selfishness and give them true womanly hearts to love their babies and give them birth and all the needed care that a mother alone can give.
We ask this through Jesus  Christ, Your  Son, Our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy  Spirit, one God, forever and ever,  Amen.

Morningstar Ministries Annual Dinner

Morningstar Ministries of the North Penn Area, Inc. is a local (Souderton) Christian Maternity Home that provides a loving and supportive environment for women (age 13-25) in crisis pregnancy.  They have helped over 200 women and babies over the past 22 years. 

 

This is their annual fund raising dinner ... the cost is a free will offering ... the key note speaker this year is a former Planned Parenthood Clinic Director, Abby Johnson .. she observed an ultrasound of an abortion and quit. 

 

The Table is #22 ... and if you can join me, please either call me on my cell 215-285-4837 or, send an email to rosettabuss@comcast.net if you are interested in coming to dinner on Saturday evening, September 11th.  The dinner will be held at the Family Worship Center on Troxel Road in Lansdale and will be served promptly at 6:pm.  There are ten seats at the table, please join me.  We can always get a second table if we need it; unfortunately, that's not usually the problem.  Hope you can join me!  Please let me know by Monday evening, September 6th.
