Happy Birthday, Jesus!!!

This year, we ask that you consider making a donation of baby items to a local maternity home or crisis pregnancy center in your area, to complete your nine months of prayer for a child with a "Christmas present". We hope that your child receives the greatest gift: the gift of life with the salvation of Christ.


Thank you for praying for your spiritually adopted child from Annunciation through Christmas.  We encourage you to spend the months from Christmas 2010 through Annunciation 2011 in prayer for abortionists and pro-choice politicians, asking that God will convert them and turn them from their lives of child killing.  Offer Rosaries on their behalf, with the intent of their conversion.     

Lord God, I thank You today for the gift of my life and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that You have conquered death by the resurrection of Your Son. I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Although Jesus was officially full term 2 weeks ago, babies are considered “full term” any time between 38-40 gestational weeks/40-42 LNMP weeks.  He is 280 days old and can function outside the womb.  In 14 states, babies can be aborted at this age. This week, Jesus is 38 weeks old and officially full term.   He is 266 days old!  His chest is more prominent and his abdomen is round, due to the size of his liver.  A kick from him can knock a book off of Mary’s lap!  He can fully function outside the womb.  In 14 states, babies can be aborted at this age.  Jesus, our Savior, inspire in the hearts of all people a love of life.  Touch the hearts of our elected officials and open their hearts to the sanctity of all life.
