In Massachusetts this Tuesday, January 19th, a critical election will take place to fill the late Senator Ted Kennedy's Senate seat. The Republican Candidate Scott Brown has a good chance of defeating the Democratic candidate Martha Coakley. If Mr. Brown wins the election he would be the 41st vote against the Health Care Reform Bill and therefore the Democrats would not have the 60 votes needed to pass the bill in the Senate. (Ms. Coakley has been quoted as saying that staff who dont want to perform abortions in hospitals should stop working.)
As a fellow Prayer Warrior we know the ‘Power of Prayer’ and ‘With God’s Help Nothing is Impossible’. Therefore we are asking all of you to join us in prayer this Tuesday. We can storm Heaven by Praying the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chapletor offering up Mass that day for the election. We all know how effective Fasting or making some form of Sacrifice can be when pleading our case before the Lord.
