This week in Christ's life… (9)

This week, Jesus is 9 weeks old and his mother, Mary, has entered her third lunar month of pregnancy.  His fingernails, toenails, and hair follicles have appeared and he is displaying a more upright posture.  He measures approximately 2 inches long (5cm) and his skin is less transparent.  His proportions resemble a newborn baby’s.  He weighs between a quarter and half an ounce (7.6g). Precious heart of Jesus, teach us to love all people, especially the newly developing baby.
