Dont Let Them Get Away With It!!! (PLA)

You've probably heard that the White House and Congress are planning to use the controversial "reconciliation" process as a last-ditch effort to ram through a health care reform bill. The reconciliation process is being used to circumvent the need to get a sixty-vote majority in the Senate to pass the bill. Under this process, the House would pass the abortion-laden Senate health care bill, which does NOT include the Stupak language barring government funding of abortion. Then the House and Senate pass a "reconciliation" measure modifying the first bill to gain the support of more Representatives and the White House. Only 51 votes would be needed to pass the reconciliation measure in the Senate, not the 60 votes typically required for legislation. Confusing? Yes. And maybe that's the point. President Obama and the pro-abortion congressional leadership are so desperate to pass their abortion-expanding health care plan that they're willing to employ such an arcane legislative maneuver. President Obama has declared he wants to sign the abortion-laden health care bill by Easter -- just a few weeks from now!

NOW is the time to pull out all the stops and DEMAND that Congress scrap the pro-abortion health care bill. This
bill would:

* FORCE taxpayers to fund abortion

* IMPOSE a new "abortion fee" on taxpayers

* FUNNEL $11 BILLION in new funding to groups like Planned Parenthood -- the nation's largest abortion chain

* EXPAND abortion more than any government action since Roe v. Wade

Here's what you -- and every pro-life American you know -- needs to do RIGHT NOW:

2. SPREAD THE WORD with every online tool you can -- e-mail, blogs, Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, etc. Include a link to http://www.stoptheabortionmandate.com

3. PRAY that our pro-life Congressional leaders will hold strong and block government funding of abortion.

This is the final lap -- let's press forward to the finish line! Abortion is NOT health care under any circumstance -- and we should NEVER be forced to fund it.
